Our Services
Healing starts with a good talk. At Good Talk Counseling, we offer personalized mental health care for adults through individual and group counseling, optionally enhanced by the calming presence of animal partners and, when desired, the restorative power of nature.
We’re committed to making mental health services accessible for all. We accept Colorado Medicaid (Health First Colorado), including members enrolled with NE Health Partners and Colorado Community Health Alliance (CCHA) across Baca, Bent, Boulder, Broomfield, Cheyenne, Clear Creek, Crowley, Elbert, El Paso, Gilpin, Jefferson, Kit Carson, Kiowa, Lincoln, Larimer, Logan, Morgan, Otero, Park, Phillips, Prowers, Sedgwick, Teller, Washington, Weld, and Yuma counties. For uninsured or underinsured clients, we offer a flexible sliding scale fee structure, with sessions never costing more than $100. No matter your coverage or income level, we’re here to support your mental wellness journey with dignity, respect, and compassion.
We understand that healing looks different for everyone, which is why our flexible, compassionate approach supports a wide range of needs, including anxiety, trauma-informed, grief and loss, life transitions, neurodivergence, and aging-related challenges.
Session Options
Individual Counseling. These one-on-one therapy sessions are tailored to the individual's goals, experiences, and healing process.
Group Counseling. Our therapist-led support groups provide a safe environment to build connections, gain insight, and feel less alone on your journey.
Animal-Assisted Therapy. Our animal partners are integrated into sessions as helpful allies to enhance emotional regulation, reduce isolation, and increase self-awareness through intentional interaction.
Nature-Based Therapy. For clients who feel nourished by the outdoors, we offer outdoor therapy sessions in the peaceful natural spaces located on our Longmont, Colorado campus.

In-Person Appointments. Connect face-to-face with our compassionate providers in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Telehealth Services (CO Residents Only). Receive expert care from the comfort of your home, office, or any private space through secure, convenient online sessions.
In-Home Sessions. Offered to clients in and around Longmont, CO, who require personalized support in the comfort and privacy of their own space.
Community-Based Counseling. These sessions take place in various settings across Longmont and its surrounding areas (e.g., parks, community centers), where clients feel safe, familiar, and empowered.
