Social Enterprise Model
Good Talk Counseling embodies the principles of a social enterprise: serving the community, prioritizing social and environmental missions over traditional profit maximization, and reinvesting its revenues to create lasting positive change.
Good Talk Counseling’s core objective is to create a nurturing and empathetic environment where clients can achieve emotional and psychological healing, growth, and recovery. The optional integration of animal-assisted therapy into our mental health counseling provides a dual benefit: it offers healing and support to individuals seeking mental health services while simultaneously reinforcing Paragon Service Dogs' mission.
Through this enterprising partnership, Paragon Service Dogs offers Good Talk Counseling the opportunity to aid in the training and certification of both Service Dogs for People with Disabilities and Facility Dogs that offer comfort, emotional support, motivation, and specialized tasks for clients and patients across varied settings. In turn, Good Talk Counseling provides Paragon Service Dogs with a funding source and a training ground to place more service dogs, thereby expanding their reach and impact. As a result, more individuals benefit from the positive, transformative effects of service dogs.
